The greed that is Tesco

I just got a leaflet through my door from Tesco Clubcard giving me details of opening times for Christmas.

The store is open until 10pm on Christmas Eve - what???  isn't Christmas Eve special any more?  Tesco do not seem to care about their staff, to keep them there past 10pm on the night before Christmas.

It's just crazy !

Isn't it about time that the laws were changed to allow everyone enjoy Christmas completely?

James May's boring programmes

Actually, I like James May and his TV programmes . . . .  what I don't like is when someone puts their name on a TV programme . . . such as James May's Toy Stories, or Richard Hammond's Fat Girls in Swimsuits, kind of thing - well you get the drift.


Jamie Oliver and Gordon Ramsay are the worse offenders in this . . . . and I wish this "pat me on the back" practice would stop, it makes you all conceited, self righteous and so up yourselves that it detracts from what are, in essence, good TV shows.

Don't Chinese take away's piss you off ?

They piss me off for sure !

I hate it when you are at the Chinese waiting at the counter, it's your turn to have your order taken, then the phone rings and they answer it first! Ignorance !!!

This really pissed me off a few years ago at a place in Leeds, same thing happened but I was in a really bad mood that day so as soon as he started speaking I went to the phone and pushed that cut off button and shouted "hey, I was here before the phone call" - he simply said sorry, but I just walked out and never went there again - his ignorance cost him about £700 a year in lost takings.

But it's common though isn't it? and it really pisses me off . . . happens elsewhere too though, maybe harsh just to pick on the Chinese.

14th February 2007 was the last time I made a post on here.

A lot has happened in that time . . . but instead of going through all that, I've decided to start, as of today, my random ramblings . . . things that piss me off and things that I might agree with, though right now I don't agree with much and so most of my post might seem quite negative.

So let's begin . . . .
